For 49 years I've absolutely loved Christmas.
This year, nothing. Not feeling it one bit, stuff been going on and just seeming to be stuck in traffic jams every minute of every day plus this fuckin rain.
I'm usually giddy as a kipper but feel as flat as a witches tit.

This, I’ve done everything to get into the spirit of things , been to a panto , dressed up as a blue Santa , festive meals with family , brass band and choir , santas grotto and winter wonderland but it’s just not in the air , drove into town today and it was grey and quiet

Keep it going mate, you've done very well !!!
I normally drink loads of lemon tea with a cold, with paracetamol. If you let yourself get dehydrated you'll feel worse.
Basically just boiled water with loads of lemon slices in it.

I fucking love Christmas. I'm not a religious person, but it's the one time of year I get to see all my friends and family and there will ultimately come a time when I don't get to do that. I cherish any opportunity I get to return to Manchester.

It's going to be a little different this year as my wife left me a few months ago, but still really looking forward to it ! If you add them up, you don't get all that many Christmas Days in your lifetime, so enjoy each one.
