Do you support the RMT?

Why shouldn’t a union boss be on £84k ffs?! It’s an absolutely massive job. Ridiculous headline.

One thing that I haven’t heard mentioned too many times ( at all ) during this dispute, is that one of the first things Lynch did when he was elected as General Secretary was to recommend to the annual conference that he thought the pay for the job was a bit high and recommended they reduce it. Which they did.

It’s interesting how the uncaring Tory government are now trotting out ‘the trade unions are ruining everyones Christmas holidays’ line.

The irony being that without trade unions the working class wouldn’t get Christmas holidays…….……….

The irony of a newspaper editor probably on up to £500k pa running a paper that will never make a profit thinks that headlines a zinger should not be lost on anyone either

Plus it takes two sides to come to an agreement so in the absence of political bias one way or the other, both parties should be held equally accountable for the consequences of the failure to come to an agreement!!

Qakeshitt - one of a number of rightwing "thinkers" today who's answer is sack all the strikers.

Yeah sure sack all the nurses, Dr;s, Ambulance dirvers, Firefighters, teachers, Rail workers Heathrow baggage handlers etc etc - I am sure that come Monday the country will be in absolutely fine fettle

Really like Mick Lynch. This society needs recalibrating. He’s one of the good guys.
