Do you support the RMT?

In the real world the support isn't anywhere near as much, and as soon as the strike happens the support they have will dwindle to even less.

You can't ever take this website or any other website as being the norm because it most definitely isn't.

The new statesman is about impartial as the morning star.

Will be hard to pick one media outlet in this nation that isn't pro or anti government and always we are only getting a viewpoint set within that publications interests

Echo chambers wont listen unless it's the morning star, this poll is pretty clean considering the source.

The point stands, this website and others like it are not indicative of how the public support this strike, the people trying to get to work have my sympathy though.

I thought people understood that the lockdown and paying people to do nothing with money we didn't have would lead to massive economic damage and pain for everyone? We can't afford to give everyone inflation proof wage rises, the country is skint.

Looking like the only people who are out in force at stations today are TV news crews desperately trying to find an angry commuter only to be disappointed - many working from home I assume particularly given the nice weather on the strike days. Just confirms that most travel into city centre offices is not really necessary every day - most can work from home quite happily.
The conundrum for the govt is whilst they have pointed to this as a way to beat the strikes and they will be happy if the impact on productivity is tiny and the country isn't gridlocked but that flies in the face of the doctrines of JRM about getting back into the office ( to support their commercial property owner donors )

London worker, had to ride in an hour and ride back to collect the nipper later on as well. Proper schlep and it has really fucked up my plans for work today, plus my trip to Glastonbury this weekend.

Still support them 100%.

I wouldn’t necessarily say they were bad, who wouldn’t say put more money in to Public Services if there was no cost of doing so.
What they did however, was make reckless promises just before the Election, say for example, promising to backdate the State Pension for women to 60.
Never mind the cost of doing it, but there is the ever so small problem of the Equality Act introduced under Labour.
If you do it for women, you have to do it for men, because the fundamental principle of that Act is we are all treated the same.
No way could the Country afford that and Corbin and his sidekick lost all credibility as to a Party who could run the Country without quickly bankrupting it.
I only asked because the current government has managed to find a magic money tree far, far bigger than the one envisaged by the Labour Manifesto of 2019. It is also responsible for having the largest tax burden of any government since war time so I’m just curious as to how they’d have ‘bankrupted the country?’

Shapps - reforms - wants to use drones to inspect tracks rather than have people walking them - do these drones locate and tighten up loose nuts then?
Johnson - we can't keep ticket offices that are open all day just to sell one ticket - we want to get those people out from behind plate glass onto platforms helping people - no you don't you want to shut the ticket office and get rid of those people behind the plate glass you lying fat fraud

I think the RMT need something like Unionion the trade union onion to win over any doubters.

You'd think there's no way this level of stupidity could be an elected representative of the people, but alas...

Yet the rich are getting richer every day.
