Do you think the world will be much different in 70 years from now?

internal combustion engine will exist only in museums, pavements will be pedestrian no-go zones due to the risk of tripping over charging cables to your personal electric transport device, supplied with power from solar farms off the coast of London. Many species will be extinct, many more will have been re-energised from dna and exist in zoo environments, meat for food will be available only to the wealthiest, proles will get insect burgers and salad, force grown in hydropods.

World boundaries will change with countries vanishing as a result of coastal erosion/rising sea levels and superpower expansion to house growing populations, living to 150 and above following the invention of mechanical organ replacements

Liverpool however will still not have won the premier league, and following the loss of anfield to the sea, are now ground sharing with united at the stadium formerly housing salford city reds

No one has any idea what the world will be like in 2089.

In 1949 no one had any idea that we’d have the internet, google, amazon, tv on demand, space travel, the EU, mobile phones, 33 rpm LPs, CDs, streamed music, freed the world of smallpox, largely eradicated polio, diphtheria, whooping cough, Herat transplants, AIDS, Ebola, global warming, etc., etc..
In 1949 nobody in UK had any idea that the BBC would cease to have a monpoly of all broadcasting here.
Perhaps in 50 years, the licence fee will have gone too.

It will be exactly the same. Apart from being extinct I mean.

Oh and Rangers will still be Going For 55.
