Do you think we should support the top 6 plan to receive a higher share of PL income?

Why are people against just a portion of the foreign TV money being handed out according to merit placing but perfectly happy with the domestic TV money being split that way?

I do not want my club to.be a part if this. It is anti competitive, like the old sky 4.

All the money should be shared equally

So the current system is also wrong?

The PL winner should get the same as the team in 20th and no merit payments?
Yes without all the teams competing there would be no Premier league
I can even remember the days when home gate receipts were shared equally. In them days most teams had a chance of winning the title
For a long time only only rags and Chelsea had a chance now there is a little more competition but not much
The greedier the top teams become the less money for the lower teams
Resulting in an even worse Premier league in terms of finishing in top six than it is now

No but for different reasons. We have a very generous wealthy owner which gives us a competitive edge. If the other 5 clubs suddenly received a bigger share all it would do is to increase transfer fees as we would all be competing for the very best players,so no no no.

I think dishing the dosh according to where you finish (although I’d do it on number of points, so teams would all play full on for 38 games) is eminently fair. It’s the total lack of ambition from most of those outside the top 6 that’s brought this on.
The other change that could be made is splitting the money through the PL and the championship. Relegation then not such a massive problem for teams and maybe they’d look to keep managers/coaches and play some progressive football (you could also achieve the same thing with relegating 8 teams every season).

No.
As many have said that several years ago we would have needed the money to survive.
How is this any different to Champions league awarding more money for history. We are now part of this and as a club we would be getting left behind if as a club didnt support it. I would rather the money be ploughed into grass roots, helping the very many volunteer coaches
