Do you want Tevez to stay?

Re: Apology

by refusing to play tevez is in breach of his contract with city, and hence this should cause him serious problems. this is the probable reason behind his statement after the game that he did not refuse to play but was misunderstood.

Just which part of 'get your fucking tracksuit off,get warmed up,and get on the fucking pitch and sweat blood for the team, which is what we pay you a fucking fortune for' did he 'misunderstand'?

Re: Apology

Agree with you both but what was he apologising for and why not to his team mates and the rest of the staff. If anybody was still on his side after his summer antics then I can't believe anybod still is now

Re: Apology

I stayed off here last night and thought I'd sleep on it, but still find it hard to believe.....I hope City serve up the biggest punishment imaginable, yes he is being advised now by his legal experts and is picking his words carefully. Off with his head (again)

Re: Carlos Tevez [Merged]

I think Mansour has probably had enough of losing big bucks on a host of players. I maybe in a minority here but it'll be really frustrating if they just wash their hands of Tevez without conducting some sort of investigation into the incident. I think it's now clear that the reason was Tevez felt he was ready to go on straightaway but Mancini wanted him to warm up some more of which Tevez declined? Which is a bit different from Mancini's events.

I agree. I would think that under the circumstances City are within their rights to cancel his contract but withold his registration. Therefore still having the ability to sell him. This could depend on what the other players on the bench have to say about. If there is any possibility (however slight) of a misunderstanding then I don't think City would go down that route.

Either way City need to back Bobby Manc to the hilt on this.
My guess is that they may fine Tevez and suspend him indefinitely from the Club, with a view to moving him on at a knock down fee in January.

Terminate Contract: retain resignation, wait to be sued, counter sue for extensive losses. Tie him up in High Court for 2 years.

So it's fair to say that McNulty doesn't support Tevez then.

Does he mean 'registration'?
Yeah it's my copying error. Still half asleep after getting back at 2am.

Any club wanting him now would need their head testing. I'd just fine him, make him train with the reserves / kids until at least next Summer. Forget selling him in Jan...make him suffer.
