Does anybody feel “different” since Istanbul?

Yes, the same. Less bothered somehow. Like we’ve reached the top of the mountain. It’s going to take some failure to get over it but that’s going to come one day.

Walked home from the airport after landing at Manchester at 1am from Istanbul and it was the best mile walk of my life didn’t stop smiling all the way home and the weight off my shoulders as a football fan was totally lifted. We’ve seen it all and it could never be bettered from gillingham to agueroooo to the kompany special to the Gundogan comeback and then onto Istanbul to top it off and complete the climb to the top of football Everest !!!

Think of the current situation as like post-nut bliss.

As soon as real competition starts again in August the fire will rekindle in everyone's belly.

And then come February+ next year, the real feeling will return.

I think as a fan base,we can relax a bit more and enjoy the fact that we are now, rightfully, one of the greatest teams this world has ever seen.

Knowing the rags are devastated is also hugely influential to how i feel.

Wonderful times.
This is absolutely it for me.
I think the Etihad will absolutely rock this season. The tense feeling that sometimes keeps us a bit quiet just won’t be there.

I wouldn’t say I don’t care about this season because it would be great to win four in a row but after the experience of Istanbul my stomach won’t be twisted if things don’t all go to plan.
I’m ready to spend the season singing the songs at full volume regardless.

Yes I know what you all mean there is defo a different feel to being a blue maybe it's the smugness still not come down from the high from being there watching with my own eyes what absolutely non of us was possible 12 years ago, still count myself lucky to of been there what we have seen these last 12 years is plain crazy.

Yes I’m just about getting over it , was one of them you couldn’t make it up ones, starting with my brakes going at 80 miles an hour , somehow surviving that , then having to get a taxi from Warwick services to Heathrow.

We’re not a big Club till we win the Super Cup and the World Club championship ; )

When we win our next league title.. we'll have 10 league titles.

If that's not the basic tenet of being a big club, I dunno what is.

It will also mean we've dominated an ENTIRE DECADE of footy in our land.

I am still anxious whether eddie would make that great save at the end , amazing eddie

Gone down the anxiety meds a bit so am feeling the achievement more , i was numb at the time
