Does the constant slander about City bother you?

Just read news now loads of articles mentioning City not a single one calling us Champions City .......rewind a year and it was a different story for the Pool
They were still calling them Champions in Feb ....So yes I guess it does

It bothers me when the BBC (which I'm forced to subscribed to) is littered with rag and dipper reporters who push the anti city agenda at the fee payer's expense.

Time to defund the nonce sympathising establishment.

Whether it’s how much money we spend, ‘lack of history’, FFP, Pep etc. It’s got to the point where I’ve just deleted Twitter etc simply because it’s so f*cking boring reading this nonsense every day. Don’t these people get bored??

Twitter is like a playground fight. Two people are getting into trouble, and everyone else is cheering them on, or passing judgement on who they thought won or lost.

And all the people spreading news about the fight are just gossips.

A lot of negative energy all round.

Also, who cares what slappers in pubs say about your club? Why do you need their respect? I couldn't care less what people from Leicester, Grimsby, Corfu or anywhere thought about my club. They're not going to make me re-consider my allegiances.

I'm not going to loose any sleep over yours or anyone's opinions, because they do not really matter. We are just fans of something we do not own or have any meaningful control over. What we decide to watch or follow is our choice. Everything else is just hot air.

Does anyone know why the @City_Chief twitter account has been suspended?

Twitter says for breaking twitter rules, but what was said? It seems a bit Draconian?

The title asks if the slander (or libel or just plain ignorance) bothers us? Well, yes it bothers me and I feel the only way to combat it is to keep ramming home the truth. It’s tiring but we must keep doing it. The truth shows City in a good light so let’s keep putting the truth out there. Let’s not make stuff up ourselves about our club or our rivals but let’s focus on what makes our team special. We have a history and heritage to be proud of and if we sing about it loudly people will eventually hear us.

It does, I cannot lie. Sometimes it gets to me, but mostly I don't really care and just ignore the noise. How do you others here cope with it? Blocking out noise isn't as easy as we think. What irks me is the so called media circlejerk around some clubs like United or Liverpool and their complete disregard of us and our project.

I would say social media is only a percentage of reflecting how we're viewed or what the slander is. I don't think it's the same outside UK. People mostly don't care about these things. But here it's a matter of being overly indulgent in a toxic football culture that breeds hatred, eventually reaching to socials and across.

I consider BM or any other City fan channels or forums a safe space to be around to celebrate and discuss openly, it gets too much sometimes. Especially when everyone acts a financial expert on twitter or argues about some daft shite.

The main issue is opposing fans saying we cannot fill our stadium , well due to health issues it is often i make a last minute decision to purchase tickets , i try to get three or four seats together and invariably it ends in failure , i can sometimes get a pair of seat together, but not often
So after failing to get tickets , i watch the game highlights and there are rows and rows of empty blue seats ,very frustrating , is it the club selling blocks to outside agencies and these tickets not being sold
Can't believe it is season card holders not turning up , not in rows of seats , maybe the club should look closely out how we sell our tickets because i am sure there are hundreds of supporters like me who make a last minute decision to go to a game and cannot buy tickets.

They’re also sponsored by a company that laundered money for terrorist groups.
Good company then

Manchester United is partnered with a Myanmar bank that funded genocide

For more than a year now, Manchester United has been partnered with a direct funder of the 2017 Rohingya genocide.

I'm sure you all heard about this in the press though. Probably got wall to wall coverage right?
