Dog seized after Pomeranian killed in Warrington attack

It should NEVER be forgotten that a dog is not human with human thinking patterns. It is a canine with canine instincts. This doesn't mean that they will all act the same way as each other just as humans will not act the same way with other humans. What has to be born in mind is that a dog will have a simple way of looking at it's existence, one which is based around food, territory, procreation and pack acceptance. Neutering pets eliminates some of these needs, and most will live a happy and placid existence, but there are others which are in the hands of the clueless who do not understand canine behaviour. Most dog owners on here will have had to face up to the problem of an untrained and uncontrolled animal in the alpha male mode running up to their own dogs and being a flaming nuisance, sometimes turning into a fight, while some clueless owner is standing yards away and trying to convince everyone that this dog is "Only playing".

Don't get me going about these dogs. I once came out of my flat and one had another dog by the head. I was trying to stove its head in with a brick and it still wouldn't let go. The poor old man who's dog was being savaged was in tears and his hand was cut to the bone.

Then when my daughter was two she was attacked in her pushchair by a Staffie which had got free. She wasn't injured because my wife managed to get between them but the owners were hardly sympathetic. They were a pair of yobs essentially. We got the police involved and guess what Likkle old wouldn't hurt a fly Staffie was called? Fucking Tyson.

These dogs are bought because they look hard. Yobs like the dichotomy that they are lovely with their family but would rip a throat out if afffronted. Just like they see themselves probably..

You know yours stuff, I love a generalisation

Aah the return of the "It's the owners fault, not the dog thread"
We have one of these debates because every fucking month an attack by a "dangerous dog" hits the headlines. Why is the title of the thread not "Pomeranian decapitates Staffie" ?
It's because it's not a dangerous dog obviously.
I've said it before on here, my Nanna used to breed dogs and was also one of the Judges at Crufts as well as other European shows so she would be on the side of the Staffie and blame it's owner. However she acknowledged that these type of dogs also have a dangerous streak.
PS forgive my ignorance if said dog is not a Staffie..... I didnt share my Nanna's RIP passion for her canine friends.

Too many excuses for Dogs when they bite.

Don't look at it in the eyes.

It's hot and bothered.

It's usually so placid.

You must have done something to upset it.

Maybe we shouldn't ban Dogs that are a danger to life...but we could make it perfectly legal to carry mace around to immobilize them when they kick off.

If I hear the phrase "It's only a puppy" when referring to a 10 st lump of muscle with teeth i'll scream.

stoving it's head in wont be easy, especially with a mutt in it's mouth, hold it's neck so it's head cannot spin on you and work a stick into the gap (lock jaw's a load of bollox) betwwen it's teeth and make the stick touch the roof of it's mouth....hey presto..relasingtons, spin it away (with the neck holding hand) and take it's feet off the floor and you'll find it ain't very hard at all. If no sticks are handy, restrain it's neck and put a lighter on it's bollox, billy wong billy chong.

This dog business is getting out of hand.

Certain breeds should just be put down or taken away from owners. I'm sick of hearing "boo hoo he wouldn't hurt a fly, please don't take my dog".

There are plenty of safe breeds of dogs to choose from, why people have to choose certain breeds to look tough. Nothing worse that a scrote on the street that hides behinds one of these dogs.

Vicious:

haha,

I was referring to certain breeds as stated! I also stated in an earlier post I really don't mind dogs but again certain breeds should just be kept off the streets.
