Dog Walking with Bernardo - Intimate interview | Video

Just when you thought you couldn't love the guy more, he does this. As the OP says not to everyone's taste but personally really enjoyed it.

The PR/Media team rightly gets dogs abuse (pun intended) at times but when they produce these behind the scenes clips, they do a fantastic job.

Real class from everyone involved.

He’s very bright. I do like an intelligent player.

Is it me or do we have more than most?

I think you are right and I think it's beause you need to be smart to understand Pep's tactics rather than, say, Neil Warnock's or Jurgen Klopp's. And to settle in a foreign country you need the brain cells to learn the language. I think, historically, it's why so few English players play abroad. Look what happened when Ian Rush went to Juventus.

Grealish is obviously more into designer labels and trends but similarly can put those together well in a way that works for him.

I find it hard to understand why Bernardo gets the amount of stick he does while Jack gets to think he's "swaggy" for dressing like a finished tub of Celebrations with the wrappers thrown back in.

No taste whatsoever.

Interesting to hear a players talk about his view on the referees over here and how he likes the way they manage the game.

I'm not sure Jack does think he's swaggy! Have you seen this?

Anyway, I really love this video with Bernardo and Ines and little John. Great to see them looking so settled and happy.

Actually really enjoyed watching that, they seem like lovely people and I'm very glad he's enjoying Manchester.

Although I fear the call of the sun will be too much for him eventually, he's winning himself a special place in the hearts of city fans and I'd encourage them both to think about that too. In ten to twenty years will they look back and enjoy the fact they lived in the sun, something they can do at any point in life, or that they have a special connection to a City and people that very few get the chance to enjoy.

Maybe would slightly query the fact that the video essentially shows his home address, or close enough to it. Anyone with a knowledge of town can figure out what building that is and I wouldn't want a stray scouser taking the opportunity to meet and greet if the title race gets close. You know what they're like.

Comments on referees noted. His and Pep's memories will be interesting, we all know it's managed to benefit certain commercial juggernauts but nice that the people in the game see that too.

Capital C for City please. Small u for the Cunts though

We have six or seven who are clearly bloody smart on and off the pitch. (Bernie, Kev, Gundo....
We have a few who are super intelligent on the pitch but don't necessarily demonstrate intelligence off it. They may be Einstein's but its just more difficult to tell (Phil, Cancelo, John....)
We have a right back who is a wonderful physical beast of a player but is a little short of Mips bless him.

Its difficult to judge us against other teams as I tend not to listen much to their players. Of our immediate rivals, Mount seems on the ball on and off the pitch as does Juan Mata.

I know some people like to live next to the cafe culture in cities but Bernado should move somewhere where there is a good private garden, I can't imagine being that wealthy and living in a concrete jungle.

Great video though, what a great couple they are.

Each to their own - he mentions him and his mrs did the same in Lisbon and they're happy.

I agree.

With his money and an apparent desire for warm, outdoor living then a pretty good compromise could at least be to have a place where he could have a huge heated conservatory overlooking a nice garden.

A city centre flat doesn't sound ideal for someone who values a warm weather outdoor lifestyle even in the summer months.
