Dogs!!!

You are all lucky people to still have your best friend by your side. I lost mine a year ago tomorrow and I still miss him dearly.

Fucking horrible mate,as I said in this thread other day, lost mine in April, and it fucking hurts,I'm looking at her ashes now,and brings tears to my eyes I'll be honest.

But the new one is keeping me busy,it's fucking mental :)

Sorry to hear that. I lost one of mine to old age a few months ago. Much loved. Are circumstances not right to get another?
I will be getting another just not right now.
You can take mine for a walk anytime mate
Patterdale....... it’d probably wear me out. :)
Sorry to hear that, the one I am talking about in this thread is just over 2 years gone :(

We have another little fella rescued from a dog centre now, he is hard work but we would never take him back and he is improving, slowly but it is improvement lol

A pair of crackers there mate. I love how all dogs, although similar - all have their own little characters.

It’s hard isn’t it boss. I planned to scatter the ashes in one of our favourite, special places but when it came to doing it I couldn’t. I’m pretty sure I shall keep them for a little while longer.

I was watching a vet on tv today and he was talking about foods you should not let your dog eat as it's very dangerous, obviously chocolate is a big one but also artificial sweeteners in chewing gum, cakes etc, something to bear in mind

My last two’s ashes are scattered in the sea at one of their favourite places. I say hello regularly when walking my surviving (and new) dog. I instructed in my will that my ashes will go in the same spot. There’s a little memorial plaque on a nearby post.

This may sound overly sentimental but it gives me comfort.
