No it started with both a poor government and a poor opposition. I agree on the sentiment of the second point though.
A Labour govt with say Starmer at the head and a firm plan to Brexit would have walked the election.

Im 49 and can honestly say i dont think i have ever seen a time with such a lack of talent and leadership across the parties as we have right now.

A lot of Labour voters thinking that this will bring down the goverment, to be in opposition they have to drop the deluded notion that you can reverse everything you don't like and that everyone else agrees with you.
Think you are massively underestimating the power of the media in this country and the new power of rogue social media if you think any labour leader would walk an election, against any Tory.A Labour govt with say Starmer at the head and a firm plan to Brexit would have walked the election.
