Theres an excellent Documentary about Cummings on Iplayer. Shows what a duplicitous lying conniving twunt he is........... fits right in to the Tory Party.

I've never really noticed Cummings before he became a hate figure. I've done a bit of poking around the Internet, and it seems he's just a bit one dimensional rather than particularly evil. I think if he was forced to integrate his ideas / approach into a functional team with some other input to temper his he'd have been useful. As is I'm sure he felt he was doing a good job, but I think he was over promoted and allowed to wield too much unchallenged influence. Probably a useful body / dead cat to throw to the wolves at present. Haters got to hate.

I did yes, utterly fascinating comparison, like you i had not seen the comparison nor had it ever even entered my head that they could be comparable. Maths ain't my strongest point, but the way she pulled the strands of the argument together was brilliant. I love the Irony of the Tories attempting something the Soviets tried whilst simultaneously calling us lefties Marxists, Trots and Stalinists.

I had not heard of her before, i have seen a lot of Mark Blyth's stuff on you tube, so will look her up. Cheers

I've always maintained that for a man in his position to dress down to the extent he has done whilst at number 10 is arrogance in itself. In fact most if the time he's looked nothing better than a scruffy cnut. A case of "I'll do what I want to and sod anyone else". His whole demeanor smacks of arrogance. A horrible specimen of a human being.

My old Nan used to say “never trust a man who takes no pride in his appearance”.

As a ratio to where this scruffy **** has had to turn up to work (#10) and a tramp living rough, I’d say Cummings has less pride in his appearance than a tramp.

I don’t like it when these modern business types don’t wear a tie with a suit. I think it’s a really lazy and unfinished look. But Cummings regularly turned up to #10 with casual clothes that didn’t even fit him.

The arrogant thing is a social influence type thing. They're exerting the message that you have authority by the fact you can afford not to try. Same as the repeated instances of Tories and Bojo 'running late' for TV appearances.

That increasingly seems to be the truth about these people.

They just don't believe in British decency. And they will never take responsibility.
