Have had to turn the TV down because this woman is making my pets ears bleed.
I wonder if he has been forced into this public statement and questions thing, much like Sturgeon did with the Scottish CMD, to gauge public opinion and reaction after. If he doesn't deliver then surely he has to go.
If the story is still the headlines after this he will HAVE to go.People like Cummings just don't 'go'. They will have to be 'encouraged' and the only one who can do the encouraging is BdePJ! I just cannot understand why some government flunky is given the opportunity to make a statement and then field some questions. That bugger Jenrick did similar a few weeks back and brass-necked it out! Sheer bloody arrogance, I think, will win the day!
Had any oakie, BannedTossPot, Ric or Arthur on this forum done what he's done and then, after being stopped and questioned by Durham plod to which they would reply that they are following the 'instincts of any father or parent', as Boris suggests is the mitigating circumstance, the aforementioned would be told in no uncertain terms "I'm sorry sir, but I am afraid what you have told us won't fuckin' wash! Yer nicked!' But, oh, the privilege of a Westminster existence! We can only dream!
