Cummings and his Mrs suspected she had COVID symptoms so he went back to work? Regardless of the Durham stuff that alone was a breach of the guidelines as he and his household should have quarantined at that point.

I noticed today he had a newly acquired hired goon following him out of his house. You're not supposed to have people from another household in your home, that is against lockdown guidelines.

Its clear that he doesn't give a fuck about the rules and that shitshow this afternoon just confirmed it.

As for doing a 60 mile round trip driving a car to test your eye sight? It's deeply concerning that the PM's top advisor thinks A) that's a sensible thing to do and B) it's a credible reason that the public will relate to in order to vindicate his actions.

I agree with that. The media are in over drive at the minute with this story. 24/7 news coverage and the sheer hatred in some of the questions asked today was so obvious. Even the 30 odd reporters stood outside his house.

no one was questioning Johnson on his policies today or asking about the pretty poor job his government have done recently.

I'd disagree that there was any hatred in any questions - its called journalism and political journalists are obliged indeed must question political figures. Just because they are questioning "your" side doesn't make that wrong.

They didn't ask about his "policies" because they were simply announcements referring to things that may happen 3 to 4 weeks from now and clearly an attempt to take the story in another direction but clearly listening to that folk story today the investigation isn't dead nor over.

For me the media are doing their job and will have to continue to do so until the Govt answers the questions and stops denying things that the main layer admits to - says they won't waste time answering questions then give two contradictory press conferences in two days.

basically confessed to a motoring offence - if your eyesight is impaired you should not drive until you have undertaken an eye test. They will recommend whether you need specs or if you wear them whether you need a change of prescription. They will also tell you whether you need to declare to the DVLA who in turn may revoke your license.

That's because this whole shitshow is ridiculous, if he'd have walked/been sacked he wouldn't have been the story. Very effective way of shifting the narrative away from death totals PPE care homes etc.
