if you had kids you might better understand from a parents perspective why you might be choosy about who you want to be looking after them if you fear that both you and your partner are about to become very ill at the same time.what has that got to do with it? I know you like to be contrary but you can?t possibly defend him on this and be serious,he has,family ,friends,aides of his own,government plans for every eventuality and he wrote the fucking rules!!.
He didn't really say his relatives were unsuitable, did he?As a parent he is quite within his rights to say they are not suitable. I have relatives who I wouldn't have let anywhere near my kids. You specifically referenced his parents.
There is no logic in his going to his parents' concrete bunker.

Its got lots to do with it.
Preaching about other kids childcare and how they should be looked after when you dont have any kids yourself is a bit rich to be honest.
Not many are defending him as far as i can see but they are rightly putting some untruths being spouted on here from some, right.

The apologists on here look increasingly desperate.
This isn't going away and will continue to damage this awful Government.
But it is a distraction from the catastrophic handling of the pandemic which has cost thousands of lives and damaged the economy beyond what was necessary had decisive action been taken in a timely manner.

Ha I have step kids from when they were young,key workers were sending their kids to school,sending them to strangers,i am sure he could have trusted plenty of people in london,really anyone who mounts this kind of defence for him probably didn't stick to the rules eitherif you had kids you might better understand from a parents perspective why you might be choosy about who you want to be looking after them if you fear that both you and your partner are about to become very ill at the same time.

He didn't need to be explicit because the journalists were two fixated on their prewritten stories to explore that avenue despite it being an obvious line of attack.He didn't really say his relatives were unsuitable, did he?

Cummings is clearly a wrong un and guilty of at least poor judgment and dishonesty and probably more. I do find it strange though that his opponents are so blinded by hatred that he's probably been held to more scrutiny in the last hour over his trip to Durham than Tony Blair was for Iraq, Cameron for Brexit, or May for Windrush. Strange times.
