I disagree and the insults were many. The incredulity at the position people took with evidence in front of there eyes ?
How dare anyone offer a different viewpoint lol and there lies the rub.
No one had the occation to formally complain because no one dared to come on and offer alternate pov's.A closed shop shall we say.
I talk not for myself as I have the debating nuance of a turnip but of the others detracted from entering the fray and denied of sensible debate.
I have to go now as it's market day but do remember that it's nice to be nice like what you are all being now.
(for the record I did not or do not report)
Whilst not wishing to continue an issue which has been somewhat 'solved', I do want to respond to this.
Opinions are one thing if you have a reasonable argument for it and not just 'because'. So, when many of us are asking another supporter of Trump to 'explain the position' and we don't get a response that actually reflects [but deflects] the issue, it leaves a lot of people scratching their collective heads.
'Make your case'; let the person agree or agree to disagree, but 'make your case'.
That's what allows excellent debate to refrain from petty squabbling.
We are all a little different. Some are more different than others of that I grant but we all have an opinion to offer.
He is far from the polished article but should be allowed to see out his tennure so we can form true opinion.
A lot of people voted him in through the democratic process.Sixty plus million ?
It would appear there are lots of people who abhore the democractic process if it does not fall there way.
Which can be seen hard at work in the brexit threads.Even now individuals weazle behind the screens to revert the process that our countrymen voted for.
You raise a point of fact that only reflects the murky world of college voting. You should also recognise he lost the popular vote also.
In the thread, prior to it being cut, I mentioned the desperation behind how people voted, in order to change their fortune. I think you would find that after 10 months in charge that a large demographic of those voters would change their vote if they knew what their future held, to this point.
The fact that people are voting/ have voted against their best interest is because big business have the ear of the government and mainstream corporations. It's incredible when you really look into it from the Walmart Family to the Koch Brothers and everyone further down the 0.01% wealth beneficiaries.
Honestly, look into it, you will change your mind.
