Donald Trump

No watched that video so can't comment on it. But the most disturbing thing I've picked up from US media over the course of this election cycle is how obsessed the country is with the colour of people's skin. Absolutely everything seems to be defined by race over there (and I mean on all sides). It strikes me as a country that continues to suffer extremely deep racial divides. The two-party political system obviously doesn't help, but things juts don't appear to be improving in that regard.

Thats because most Americans don't know or don't care about anything else.

The whole build up to the election was mainly about:

Ban Muslims
Build a Wall
Race
Hilary's Emails

There was hardly any actual policies that were being discussed, it was simple politics for simple voters, Hence why Donald Trump had the upper hand.

Yeah, those civil rights marches in the '60s were a drag weren't they?
They were marching to change unfairness in US society towards an entire ethnic group. It's not exactly comparible to "my candidate lost, and it's not fair!"

The civil rights marches made the nation take notice and realise that actually, many people were not happy about being treated as second class citizens and that the feeling was widespread, so changes needed to be made. They acheived change because the system and society was mistreating them and it was legal.

These marches are because their candidate lost an election. If they are "protesting about the Electoral College", as some have tried to claim, would they have been protesting if Clinton won the electoral college vote but also lost the popular vote stating "Okay, Hillary won, but it's still not exactly fair on the Republicans, is it?" I somehow doubt it.

I dont remember any demonstrations when O`Barmy won, seems those "Simple" voters are grown up enough to accept the result while generation snowflake and the liberal lefties throws their toys right out of the f*cking pram when they lose (Not unlike brexit).

Has it ever dawned upon little lefties that they created the divides, people resent being told what to do and how to think ?.

When it gets to the point where a baker can not refuse to make a cake without the full force of the law jumping on his head because he offended
someone ( Never mind that he found the message on the cake offensive to his believes) its past time to look at balance.

When you open the borders to hoards of financial migrants while there are housing, job, school places, hospital beds, doctors appointment shortages,

When people dont get a job because of their race its racism, unless of course you call it "Positive discrimination", then the poor f*cker not getting the job is the racist if he complains.

When you ban words* without looking at intent, when you protect certain religions over others from ridicule, when freedom of speech is restricted in case it causes offence, when you put the interests of a minority over the majority then the pendulum has swung too far.

* Even worse, you ban words because they are so offensive to a minority that then uses them in everyday life.

This is what woke up middle England and Middle America, now just prey the pendulum does not swing to far the other way.

Good post Blue

dont remember any demonstrations when O`Barmy won,
You've a poor memory then. Those simple voters tried to have him impeached for lying about his place of birth using a fake Kenyan birth cert. Plenty of protest marches too, as well as death threats.

It's not about "my candidate lost" and "it's not fair" , Trump spouted a lot of extreme stuff in his campaign, that's what it's about.
The marches are democratic, legal, they will continue and will be effective.
