Where I live, there are mass walkouts in high schools by kids who weren't old enough to vote. They aren't protesting the election result -- they're frightened because they been they've been taught that the rejection of someone else based solely on race, creed, sexual orientation, etc. is a moral wrong, and now -- in their view -- the President appears to espouse exactly that ethos. They are kids. They oversimplify because it's how they deal with a complex world they don't yet understand and they're not yet fully a part of. Frankly, I'm glad to see it. It means they care enough about the world around them to do something about it in what way they can.
Either that or social media and mates are telling them it has to be done and like sheep, off they go.
In 4 years time, let's see how many of them can be arsed to actually vote, be a part of the democratic process and then live with the result like 99.99% of is do.
British politics is going the same way with a tiny minority incapable of not accepting a result they don't like and spending most of their lives bleating about it on facebook.
