You underestimate the stupidity of his supporters. Just think about how dense somebody would have to be to ever even consider he was a good idea, any reasonable person already knew he was a con man who surrounded himself with criminals.

I don't need proof to know that this is nowhere near the end of the crimes that they've committed. Any halfway decent prosecutor could already get him on obstruction of justice based solely on his Lester Holt interview and his own Tweets. There's also little doubt that he's using his office to help his own interests in Russia and I'm sure he's sexually assaulted multiple women.

So Trump is now admitting to Fox he personally paid off two women who alleged he'd had affairs with them (not illegal) - against Cohen's statements that the money came out of campaign funds (illegal). Did Fox ask him why he'd paid off the women?

I was under the impression it was the other way round. Cohen admitted to using Trump’s own money to buy the women’s silence so as not to jeopardise the campaign which made it a campaign related expense. You can’t evade campaign finance law by using non-campaign funds to avoid having to report a campaign expense. Doing this, ie the bit Trump is confessing to, is the felony bit.

Actually paying the women out of campaign funds and reporting it as a campaign expense would have been legal. But obviously as this was ‘hush’ money, reporting it as a campaign expense would have been self defeating.

At least this is my understanding and it’s possible I am wrong.

With Cohen being subpoenaed by the state of New York Dumb Donald and especially his kids are in serious peril. He doesn't have the power to pardon people for non-federal crimes so if they're found guilty in a criminal court they could see jail time. And I'm like 100% sure that the state of New York doesn't allow conjugal visits between fathers and daughters.

Maybe if he cuts a deal to resign they could catch a break though...

I admit I was a bit confused with the clip on the plane where he said he didn't know about the payments, the bit where he told Fox he only knew about the payments later, and his saying he paid them personally rather than out of campaign funds.
