Trump is a crook who is up to his neck in illegal activity. I'm not an expert on him but having watched some interviews he has given I would say that he comes across as a raving narcissist with little concept of right and wrong. Mueller is making sure before acting.

It's just emerged that 1 single juror stopped the other 10 charges brought against Manafort being returned guilty. Ten 11-1 verdicts.

As that's the case, they'll retry it and if they avoid a nutjob they'll nail him on them all. And by nutjob I don't mean Trump supporter, because one of the jurors already came out and said she was a massive Trump follower but couldn't deny the evidence.

I read that they have 10 days to decide? Because they were 11-1 I think there's a very high chance of conviction in a new trial and just because of the message it sends and it makes the numbers look even better, I think they'll do it.

It would normally be surprising that the judge wouldn't accept a majority verdict when it's just one dissenter, but from what I've read this particular judge seemed to be going out of his way to put up obstacles to the prosecution.

Manafort's second trial, due to start next month includes the charge of failing to register as a foreign agent. According to sources, there is likely to be at least 3 times the weight of evidence for the prosecution in this trial than in the last trial.
