I'm not saying there's no difference in what he's saying, I'm saying there's no difference with the accusations thrown at him. They're the same accusations thrown at every other right wing US figure for the past twenty years.
And of course, just like every other time, the entire left says "BUT THIS IS DIFFERENT!" but it never is. Trump will be President until either 2020 or 2024, nothing substantial will change in legislative or social terms, the odd policy will get put through and then everybody will move on with their lives and forget this was even a thing in 10 years. The idea that this man is some towering behemoth of corruption and power who stole the nomination from the Republicans and Pied Pipered 60 million people into voting for him is just the dumbest shit.
Let me put it this way. Let's suggest that Trump IS actually some ultra corrupt man capable of driving through legislation against the wishes of the Democrats and Republicans. Just pretending for a moment. Then what exactly is the problem? The legislation will be immediately removed as soon as he's gone and everything gets put back to normal? Unless we're suggesting the Trump is somehow going to go past term limits which is just a total fantasy.
On the one hand people act like he's a complete joke and on the other hand act like he's some political populist mastermind. It's contradictory by nature. If the target of your derision is able to hold completely contradictory traits, then you're not looking at a person, you're looking at a comic book villain that you've invented.
