Donald Trump

Kanye is mentally ill and spouting shit that is right from the white supremacist handbook by saying that black people chose to be slaves. So of course Dumb Donald jumps on that and uses him as a token black guy to prove he’s not racist. He’s also gone on tv recently to beg Zuckerberg for money so there’s a good chance he’s being paid to say this shit. 50 Cent recently revealed that he was offered $500,000 to appear at one of DD’s KKK rallies.

I don’t know what we’d have to do to become a bigger joke on the world stage but I’m sure they’ll do it.

So, good news.

Turns out that I've got an internet friend who lives in the US and has never voted in his life. Doesn't care about politics.

So I said to him if I gave him twenty quid, then he would vote for whoever I asked for!

This means that technically I can now vote in the US elections! How awesome is that?!

I think the main reason for the differing responses is because Kanye is bipolar, told everyone he wasn't going to take his medication any more (the last time he did that he ended up hospitalised) and then declared 400 years of slavery was a choice by black people who outnumbered their oppressors. He's also said he doesn't agree with Trump's policies and the main reason he supports him is they have a connection and share the same "dragon energy".

Meanwhile Taylor Swift produced a surprisingly well written and considered explanation of why she was voting for a certain candidate in Tennessee, before asking her followers register to vote and then to take time to read up on their representatives' opinions, voting histories and vote according to what they agreed with.

I could also point out that Fox news and the like had very differing reactions to West endorsing Trump and Swift endorsing a democrat as well - which hasn't been condemned by the right in the same way that CNN's panel which called West a "token negro" has universally been met with disgust.

Noooo, the main reason is Kanye is black.

People here are retracting his blackness from him due to his support for Trump. That's the problem.

Oh and bipolar is a mood disorder. Quoting the odd thing from him here and there and ignoring the tons of perfectly rational things he's said in support of Trumps policies are the tools of the propagandist.

Bipolar is a mental illness - not a mood disorder. He is clearly troubled. Whether he is being exploited or not is less clear cut but I personally found the whole thing disturbing.

Not only disturbing but also alarming that the POTUS thinks it is acceptable he can spend all that time in the Oval Office with some famous geezer, essentially for the purpose of campaign publicity when he should be running the country.

He was in essence taking full advantage of a clearly troubled individual, a) to milk his own ego, and b) for perceived credibility with the black voters.

Firstly I "mood disorder"? No, mental illness. The last time he went off his medication he was hospitalised against his will because he was suffering from psychosis, so don't pretend he's just a a bit up and down.

Secondly, do you want to provide some of the "perfectly rational things he's said in support of Trumps policies"? Because only last week, Kanye was telling the world “If someone inspires me and I connect with them, I don’t have to believe in all their policies,”
