It's what happens when you have fairly open borders anyway then go to the world asking for 'free trade'. We've got nothing much to offer and the rest of the world knows it..

34% of americans do not hold a passport, and 34 states enforce a law requiring I.D in order to vote, so a lot of the population is alienated to begin with. so evidently the racist, xenophobic, homophobic, religious cranks were all that was left and they voted Trump in. most have an overblown case of self importance of living in the " greatest country in the world" but have never stepped outside of it.

I'm not sure if you're saying that the only acceptable form of I.D required to vote in 34 states is a passport, or if it's only the backward arsed fucks that have passports. Or both.
