Suggest you try doing some more research
Why don’t you provide some evidence then?

It’s not on me as I’m not making the claim there was any connection.

I’ll wait though...

P.s - bit of a shit house way of replying, if you’re going to make an argument, make it, rather than a snide dig about research when your provided zero evidence.

No offence but there’s less consequences to whatever your government says.

Our PM has condemned it and said he supports a peaceful transition of power. Our PM has said more than the other powerful Western European nations.
I’m no fan of Boris, but I saw what he had to say and thought fair play to him.
Saw nothing wrong in the tone of it.

Sorry. But if you see fascism in action, you call it. No matter the consequences. You don't play politics with it. That is appeasement. Patel failed on this measure alone.

Patel is Home Secretary, it’s not her job to criticise other world leaders.

I would have preferred it if he just condemned the behaviour and left it at that to be honest but him saying he supports a peaceful transition of power isn’t the end of the world.
I really dont understand where you are coming from with this view. It is vital that we speak out, especially about there having to be a peaceful transition of power

Fuck me, our PM put out a statement and condemned it.

It isn’t Patel’s job and she would have been briefed to leave it to the PM.

Why can’t people get this into their heads?

How are there less consequences for us when speaking out?

You're ok. The BBC are covering for her.

https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-politics-55571482

The headline and the article says that she said his words "directly led" to the violence. If you watch the clip she doesn't actually say that. She says his words were "associated with" the violence.

Pathetic from both Patel and the BBC.

There are strong links between the US and Eire, so that isnt correct.
