Trump's personality is more like Mugabe, Ceaucescu, Ferdinand Marcos or Viktor Yanukovych who all did everything they could to enrich themselves at the expense of the population. As there is a functioning democracy in place in the USA, he'll find it much harder to achieve his goals.As I said last night I think he saw the presidency as his own fiefdom, and didn't realise how much control there would be on him. I think he expected to be able to overrule and control the system in the same way Putin can.

I disagree. I think it's wrong to want to stay a dictator, but taking dictatorial power to get the good done that is needed as long as they planned the pass back to a better democratic system I'm fine with.
