So, for the American posters on here. Just read that California has moved it's Primary from June to March. The article I read said it's big news. So, what difference will it make?

So, for the American posters on here. Just read that California has moved it's Primary from June to March. The article I read said it's big news. So, what difference will it make?

I think this is voting move to get more people to vote. I think Cali is a Dem state, but clearly, people were apathetic to the process.

It would make sense to move it to a season where people aren't affected too adversely either by conditions, so will want to vote on 'decent day'.

That's my take on it, at a wild guess.

can't imagine there are as few N Koreans have cars otherwise they fear they would run away !! Can't decide whether inside Trumps head is some weird fantasy world or just a massive void.

Californians can vote in either primary regardless of our party affiliation. So CA's effect could be far more significant on either party's nominee now. My wife, e.g. Is a die-hard leftist, but could have voted in the Republican primary for Kasich to try to keep Trump from being top of the ticket.
