He's already said he won't go quietly even if he loses - I can't see him going at all if I'm honest, even after a second term.

He's setting the foundations for a dynasty for one of his freak kids to follow him. They will conveniently be able to pardon the sick **** for all of his crimes as well.

Presidential elections in the US have always been more about personality/charisma and general likability over competence for a while now. On top of incumbents usually having an advantage it’s hard to see past Trump sadly....

Unfortunately since the 2008 crash and peopel lost faith in the system such cliches are easily absorbed into mainstream and are going unchalleged.

I think trump may have pushed it too far this time, but it will be down to if any republicans have the balls to stand up to him.

Well if they lose, he'll probably try to change the two terms rule which gives them the chance to bring Obama back.

We probably wouldn't have left the EU in 3 months so won't be able to 'strike' an independent trade deal with the US

And that is the point Trump has tapped into this and knows that there's enough of them to get him over the line to become president, He was never going to win a popularity contest being the hateful divisive figure that he is but when you look at it that doesn't matter. There is enough of these groups whether that be white supremacist anti abortion, imunisation gun groups that he has fostered to win enough states. It's always been there and if you upturn enough stones they will come rushing out to vote for you divide and rule!!
 


Go on Fox (I assume), sound off, have the President announce that he'll investigate. Last we hear of that, I reckon.

Conservative Judges are by and large strict constructionist. Meaning they try not to read into the Constitution what wasn't clearly stated there. Liberals on the other hand nominate by and large activist judges. Meaning, this are the judges who try to confirm the Constitution to new realities that the founders couldn't have envisioned.

Just by knowing who does what it's easy for anyone to see that if a government were ever to try to change the rules using court activism, it most likely will be a Liberal President supported by a stacked Liberal bench, and an uncritical Media.


I have no worries whatsoever that Trump will or can change the Constitution. But because he has nominated a lot of conservative Judges this guarantees it's highly unlikely A democratic Demigod would be able to either.
 
I am watching a woman on Sky News defending Trump now - beyond belief - she starts off with " these women were from other countries " - Kay Burley says " No, no no " and she says " Ok AOC probably was born in the US " to which Kay Burley had to point out to her 3 of the 4 were US born before she would kind of accept it.

Her justification seems to be that under Trump more black, Hispanic and minority people have jobs under Trump..............what like has he personally employed them all FFS???
