You think the USA did it out if the goodness of their hearts, they wanted to dominate the world and they have, however China might have a big say on that now with the massive build up of their military. Can you tell me a war the USA have been involved in that the U.K. hasn’t? Gulf war 1/2, Bosnia, Afghanistan . Smaller conflicts like Somalia etc I don’t think anyone asked if they wanted usa to go they do it for regime change to favour them and what they want and when it no longer suits fuck off, Afghanistan been one. 9/11 happened because Bush said he no longer wanted to police the world and took their eye off the ball. Whether they like it or not with great power comes great responsibility, if they pull back and become insular they will only have to do it all again when the orange gibbon has gone and China is taking over Africa for resources (which they already do) but more aggressively and Trump realises how just drilling for oil might not cut it in the new world

We were in that one. I think it's only Vietnam that we haven't actively supported apart from some of the smaller scale stuff in South America /Grenada etc.
The last time we did anything without us blessing was probably the Falklands and maybe northern Ireland, although tbf the us public did provide plenty of support to that by backing the IRA.

Cable news is watched by relatively few people, and the new way of consuming 'news' is via social media, which is algorithmically weighted based on what your preferences are. I've had people repeat an election interference story from the 2020 election even though it was completely debunked and Rudy Giuliani is now bankrupt as a result of defaming 2 election workers.

When a convicted felon is elected to President & a suspected kiddy fiddler & sex trafficker is given one of the top jobs & insurrectionists are going to be pardoned it is safe to say the rule of law & order no longer exists in USA. Of course nothing’s changed. He’s not president yet. But even when he is we still have no choice other than to wait and see, and however stupid it gets we still won’t be able to do anything about it. Hopefully the government are putting together contingency plans with allies to mitigate any consequences that may impact us.
