If 44 Republican's voted that the trial was unconstitutional when the Senate Democrat's clearly demonstrated that it was, then at this point the chance of a guilty verdict is pretty slim.Last two testimonies were very well presented and powerful. Very interesting aswell. No idea how anyone can sit through that and still think Trump didn’t incite violence that day. It’s not even debatable

EVERYBODY in that room knows he was solely responsible for what played out on the 6th of January, but the vast majority of Republican's will vote to acquit him, because this is politics not a criminal trial. Republicans who vote to acquit will have already made a calculated risk that this is more likely to help them rather than hinder them at the ballot box.
Agree. But it is pilling massive pressure on the party. They have a rift between the magas and the establishment GOP. This is driving a stake in to that divide and hammering it over and over.If 44 Republican's voted that the trial was unconstitutional when the Senate Democrat's clearly demonstrated that it was, then at this point the chance of a guilty verdict is pretty slim.
