If they were black protectors they would have been shot. If any county is under attack, in its very seat of power by any extremists other than white Christian ones, they would have been. It was an insurrection and under that situation defending the Capitol would have been carried out. Trump failed to send support to help those cops. Failed to send help to the politicians who were under threat of death.
