No. Win an election. I think they were worried they couldn't beat him in an election. It seems they were right.

Personally, I think he’s a knobhead that I wouldn’t have the time of day for. Then again, it’s not me voting for him so he’d have no interest in me.

Why people put the likes of Trump on the top step is beyond me. I wanted a Labour win over here as the Tories had wrecked everything, but if I had a points out of 10, Starmer would’ve been a 5.5, Sunak a 4.5, whereas MAGA seem to support him as a 10 out of 10 … for a convict?

Anyway, not my battle, just think he’s a proven ****.

It was existential for him so he threw everything he had at it but now I suspect his primary motivation has gone leaving a void that will be filled by absolute headbangers. He'll content himself with making the occasional economically illiterate threat and indulging in whatever 'ism he thinks will appeal to his base, whilst continuing to be the grifting scumbag he's always been. Meanwhile the Project 2025 zealots will use him as a vehicle to set about recasting the US in their image.
