This is what he shouts at the player stepping up to take a penalty.

Just watched the full highlights on the OS, and he does it again. The OS commentator says Joe shouts 'not one for me' to the ref, to me it looks like he's shouting 'don't wait for me'. Cause when he does it he's shouting it at Sinclair as he's facing him, the ref has his back to Joe.

Must have shouted it about 5 times at Sinclair, don't know if it actually put's doubts in a players mind or not.

I used to try this when i was a keeper, anyone had comments and things put before them by a keeper before you've took a penalty?

Loads most of which was the same and was expected.
Amongst the more thought out ones I did get.
When you miss I'll make you feel better by telling you who's fucking your bird, which was said to me many years ago when I was a cocky 19 year old.

I stroked it passed him Mario style.

I wanted shut of her and was shagging her much better loking best mate at the time.

he was shouting "don't wait for me!" at scott sinclair, and then after saving the penalty, while celebrating, he shouted "don't fucking wait for me motherfucker!"

well, that was what it looked like to me? anyone else see this?

Said to the penalty taker 'straight into my hands', he tried to be cocky and chip it in the middle, looked like a fix haha. Only time it ever worked, was shit at saving penalties.

I think he said "Don't wait for me"...as in don't wait for me to dive as Sinclair has done.

If that is correct, then it's pretty clever by Joe. Keepers do study penalty takers when preparing for every match so it wouldn't surprise me.

You are spot on with what Joe said and his mind games - worked a treat on this occasion.

Sinclair always waits for the goalkeeper to make the first move, then he puts the ball in the opposite direction.

Peter Beagrie said Hart has been studied all the penalty-takers in the PL.

Don`t wait for me!

Mario take note!

Would be piss funny if Mario had a pen to take against Joe! (Euros maybe?)

First one to commit loses!
