German trains were amazing 25 years ago.And on behalf of all those with me trying to get out of Dortmund train station back to Bochum, Essen & Dusseldorf last night ….. FUCK Deutsche Bahn !
Although there was one funny story……..Old guy approaches me and asks if I can get this lad to Bochum as he has lost his glasses and can’t see. I say sure, will do.
About 30 mins later, during the train fuck up, a train gets moved to another platform and mayhem breaks out, 100’s trying to switch platforms and at least +/- 50 decide fuck it, they’ll run across the tracks ! INCLUDING THE GUY THAT COULDN’T SEE
That train got rammed and the doors closed, it was then held at that platform while another train arrived at ours, we boarded and departed while those who had risked life n limb looked on from their train.
Our train then spent a fukin age at every station, eventually getting to Dusseldorf just before 2am.
GERMAN EFFICIENCY ! - FUCK THAT
Did meet some top blues and a Dortmund fan who was doing a Munich round trip via train to watch the game … that’s about 8 hours each way !
Let’s hope Leicester is easier to get to/from.
Got a game in at Essen Sat and Bochum on Sunday, stood behind the goal, what an atmosphere.

Match finished at about 10:50pm. We got to the train as quickly as we could and we still didn't get back to Cologne until 3am. The train was full of Dortmund fans as well, fuck knows how they do that and get up for work. Always thought the German train network was spot on but that was a complete shitshow

The cunts who pulled the emergency stop on the U-bahn back to Dortmund are fucking idiots, the train was halted, restarted and then some fucking pricks set off the fire alarm. Tram evacuated and we were stranded in the middle of fucking nowhere.
It was my mate's autistic sons first ever euro away, well done cunts you ruined it as he didn't understand what was happening and got really anxious. We finally got a cab at 3am back into Dortmund and there were still Blues looking out for cabs even then. I am a grown man who can cope with these things, but some cannot, and it is not fucking fair to behave like selfish fucking pricks whilst giving no regards to the issues their actions may cause on others. We had to calm my mate down, he was ready to go on the warpath because his lad was so upset. There was also an elderly couple who had to walk all the way back to the city centre, it was an estimated 35-minute walk on google maps to where they were staying.
It is all well and good having a few beers and a sing song, having a good time with your mates following our club, I have done it for years but not once I have ever thought to do something as idiotic as that.
Remember, actions have consequences, you may not realise it at the time, but for fucks sake think next time, every Blue is there for a good time and to support our club, behaving like a prick does nobody any favours at all.
