Dortmund (H) - CL QF | Post-Match Thread

Tired team tonight. Apart from Kev/Foden the players looked mentally exhausted. Internationals and Leicester and no rest since September caught up with us tonight. Same team for next week and we will win by 2 goals.

Far too many players had an off game. Rest them up on sat and go for the kill next Wednesday.

Never heard so much rubbish in a long time.
The referee today wasn't biased, just incompetent.
Do you really believe that Uefa will be meeting refs in seedy hotels or dark alleys telling them to even up games?
Okay, bit of a weird response there.

What are you talking about to start with? Where did I say the ref was biased in this game?

He made a mistake that City benefited from and that is a rarity at this stage of the CL. That's a fact.

City have been on the other end of that more times than can be called a co-incidence in my opinion. That doesn't mean I believed the completely sarcastic(which you had to have been blind to miss) scenario I closed with for comedic effect.

I'll even say last season and this season I've had few complaints, so I feel like something has changed for the better(finally) but I still don't fully trust UEFA and I'm not being unreasonable or tinfoil-hatted in holding those sentiments.

What are your thoughts on the whole trying to ban us from the CL and forcing us to take it to the CAS? Not against City? Nothing dodgy about how they went about that?

Can you imagine this place if Foden had ‘scored’ their disallowed goal? Fuck me, @Ric would need a new server. UEFA FIFA FA the lot would be blamed in one massive conspiracy. Corruption!!!! All the usual suspects very quiet on that front. Tonight showed we get just as many shit decisions going our way as anyone else.

We scraped through in the end but it just shows no matter how much ball we have we still will leak at the back. Anyone else thought their first goal disallowed was a bit harsh? Luckily Phil pulled one out for us. Would of taken 2-1 before the game let’s finish them in the return leg.

Reminds me a bit of the first goal in last years quarter final. Played his man onside and left Garcia one on one with the attacker. Garcia did a fine tackle but the other attacker got the loose ball and put it in the back of the net.
Leicester match Walker gives away a needless penalty.
He is fast and strong but Walker just seems to turn off sometimes and often at crucial times
The winger running off him on his blindside and the high ball to the far post: Kyle’s Kryptonite

Completely over the top. If he wasn’t English he’d have never been mentioned all night
Nah, he was pretty good for a 17 yearold. Not only that, he was often ordering other guys around him to do things.

Reminded me of John astones in his young days at Everton..

The kid will be a very good player. I have no doubts.
