Don't see how that was a poor performance. It was a Champions League Quarter Final ffs, we wont blow every team away.

Wasn't at our total best, granted, but we kept plugging away and apart from a moment of magic from a well organised side, we looked fairly comfortable.

Foden second half was fantastic and that goal will be huge. Sets us up brilliantly for the second leg.

It’s always a strange one when we get to the latter stages of the Chumps.

Think most were happy enough with the starting line up, yet as the game goes on you can see it’s not right - too slow in the middle, Rodders didn’t look comfortable and Gundo couldn’t get in to the box, Cancelo not happy playing left back as he couldn’t get into the middle, having Sterling in place of Mahrez would probably have worked better, Bernie looked a tad lost up top as no physicality, etc etc.

A decent, if not strong, performance. I can count their chances on the fingers of 2 fingers while we had plenty and should have buried the match by 70. Why do we have so many members of the matchday thread talking about how shit we were and how 'for fucks sake Pep' should bring this player and that player on when we were well on top in the game? On another night Phil could have a hattrick and he keeps showing that he really can become a player at the top of the world game.

I can count their chances on two fingers and both were goals. Thank you Uefa, I always trusted you.

Good that we got the win. Disappointed about the away goal but they should have had one earlier so I suppose that’s fair. Too many stupid errors and far too slow on the ball. Kyle Walker is a liability in CL games

We got over the line but why do we make it hard at this point everytime? All we needed was too quicken things up a bit and sharpen up on the finishing, instead we slowed it right down when they were tired and conceded a daft goal, coupled with the one they got disallowed we were bloody lucky tonight.

Forgive me for not giving a fuck about the disallowed goal for Dortmund.

Bad decisions against us -

vs Monaco - Serge no pen /no red card when fouled when clean through.

vs Liverpool - Offside opening goal, wrongly ruled offside goal for Jesus, no pen for a foul on Sterling, wrongly ruled offside goal for Sane.

vs Spurs - Handball winner - Another replay not shown to the official showed the ball hit the scorers elbow.

vs Lyon - Laporte fouled in the build up to Lyon going ahead.

Wasn't there another with Balotelli dragged back in the penalty area at the end of one game? Ajax?

We were not at our very best, but we played well and could/should of had at least a couple of more goals, we are well in control of this QF and we will definitely score at Dortmund.

Looked on the matchday thread, some absolutely huge fùckin tìts on that as always, a few even turned up at the end to say Pep out and were serious.

We are in every comp and have a great chance in every one of them, do what most of you pathetic cúntz say the players should do, grow some balls!

Some game that. In some ways 1-0 would be better than 2-1. But 2-1 so much better than 1-1! Brilliant we kept going. An edgy game but get that when so much at stake. And in many ways away from home makes no odds this season. No yellow wall, no roaring Etihad. Haaland Looked strong but nothing more. Hope don’t rue those words in away leg!

phil and Kev were fantastic. Gundog good too. Rodri shaky, cancelo a bit muted but maybe deliberately so. Mahrez, shame he went off in the second half!

but my word did we get a break with the Eddie balls up in first half. A clear goal and no foul. But it’s about time we got a break in this bloody competition.
