Is there plenty of decent beer stalls around the ground mate?
Hey,
a big YES!
I've wrote that in the other thread:
viewtopic.php?f=1&t=271192
You also will find a lot of drinking spots surrounding the stadium and you really should have a drink in the beer garden 'Stadium rote Erde', the stadium which was the former ground of Borussia and just built next to the Westfalenstadium
That is not the only one! You'll have a lot of moving stands everywhere. Also there is the official club house Strobels http://www.strobels-dortmund.de/?701A0A1 which is just next to the stadium. But I would recon (deepending on the weather) to stay for drinking outside and as I said the beergarden is just great. You can get also shots (Jägermeister) at most of them...

The stadium staff does not do alcohol checks but if they see that you are too drunk or you behave badly when trying to go in they could reject you, so keep low profile when you have had some drinks ;-)..

Cheers

Cheers Tom. Do the trains run back to Dusseldorf through the night and if it is after midnight is our match ticket still valid on the train or do we need to buy one.
Your match ticket is valid around 3 hours before and after the game. So you can take the train back to Düsseldorf in that time zone. But you have to check the normal trains, if you go high speen ICE you need a special. But the normal trains are very decend and still fast. Game will be over 22:30 so you will be earliest at 23:00 at the main train station:
Dortmund Hbf
Mi, 19.12.12 ab
23:53
S 1
Düsseldorf Hbf
Do, 20.12.12
an
01:23

that is the subway...

If you go ICE it will cost you around 20 Euros to go back to Düsseldorf, which is also still ok.

You can check it on this page:
