I think I did! Douglas Luiz only becomes relevant if Fernandinho leaves. There’s no way Pep goes into next season with just Rodri as a senior holding midfielder.

So,if Dinho is extending,signing a player like Luiz doesn't really make sense.

Think Luiz is a perfect example that the club do actually know what they're doing RE. sales

Hes a very good player, but he's not a City level player

Hes £15mil of good accounting and we dont get adversely affected at all

BUT...IF he did develop into a City level player we would've had a great deal on our hands

Loving these sell with buy-back deals, seen how good they can be used with Angelino....and the likes of Maffeo and Unal show that sometimes players just don't develop how you imagine and again, those were good fees for the players they turned out to be
