How can you be eligible to play for one team and not another in the same league?
I doubt the figure is correct as the sell on fee is always for the profit compared to the original fee rather than the new fee.

You realise it is the Home Office that sets the rules, not the PL.
It is a points based system. The public effectively voted for it, when voting in the government at the time that implemented it.
One of the sets of points, is being in the top percentage of earners at his employers. At our club, with the players we have, he was never going to he amongst the top earners. At Villa, with the same wage, he was. That is why he qualified to.olay for them, but not for us.

It is not a rule. It is a qualification criteria. It has nothing to do with the league. Is it ridiculous? Arguable, but that's like arguing having diffeent speed limits in different areas is ridiculous.
And no, that's not how it works, they couldn't just sell him back to us. It applies for the duration of his work permit, or till his age triggers a different set of points.
I know that but a player should be entitled to play with any team within a leaguematched far more criteria than just wage, 2nd time round.
