I think it will probably end up with Luiz going to City after the alternatives run out.. Ederson etc being impossible to get in this window.
If City can get him for the old buyback clause plus the sell on they had from this summer I believe it will happen, the deal between Juve and Villa in the summer was very shady and I dont think anyone knows what they value him at but 30m€ plus the sell on like 10m€ will probably do. So like 35m£ pounds. He can play both 6 and 8, not many people can.. that is affordable and gettable at the moment at least. Giving 100m for Ederson or 120 for Bruno G doesnt really feels like it will happen in actuality.

And I dont believe they will loan him out after just 6 months, doesnt look good on the books and hes their 3rd, fourth central midfielder, needs a replacement in that case.

Based on players availability in Winter transfer window. I think the odds are looking like a deal for Luiz is the most likely. Juve had already been putting out statements they were looking for a loan deal for Luiz in January.

Juve want to strengthen their team in other areas and they don’t want to be lowballed for a player who has not played many mins for them, so a loan may get his value back up for them to sell in summer and get back what they paid for him.

Ederson could still be completed but we would have to pay what Atalanta want.
