Try this

You need to log into the modem with your username and password.
Username is admin
Password should be the first part of your email.

You shoulds just put the port number from microtorrent into the external port start and end box, give it a name, click ok or add or somthing and it should be done then click save settings.

Can you take a screenshoot so i can see what your doing ?.

EDIT: do it for TCP and UDP just incase.

I don't think so.

Hmm does it look a bit like this anyway

<a class="postlink" href="http://portforward.com/english/routers/port_forwarding/Belkin/F5D9230-4/Utorrent.htm" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://portforward.com/english/routers/ ... orrent.htm</a>

Bottom of the page, if so just follow the instructions on there.

Without being able to get into your router it would be hard/ nay on immpossible.

As your only occasionally downloading, I would go witht he interim solution of plugging straight into your Virgin box whilst downloading. (Just remember to reboot the virgin box everytime you swap the wires over)

Anyhow my working day is done and the pub is calling.

oh wait my table is different to the one on that website...

mine has the headings:

Description - inbound port - Type (and there is a list of TCP, UDP or both to choose from) - private ip address - private port

any idea what i put there

and thanks for the offer for redemption...i will go and buy that over the weekend anyway!
