Shocking tackle that. Straight red, no arguments. Moyes took him off straight after that.
Don't forget he should also of already been on a yellow for a blatant dive in which Walton just told him to get up instead of booking him.
Regardless it's a sending off anyway, how Kompany gets a yellow for a soft 1st challenge when this is on another level.. Unbelievable really.

Had more time to drop his foot, but he left it up. horrific tackle!
Fair play to MR for getting back up, i know he's not the sort of player to go down and milk it. But the luck were getting and the referee's he should of stayed down and rolled about.
Every other player is doing this against us, and getting us booking galore, bout time we fight fire with fire and do it back.

Does his left foot/cleats ever make contact? It looks like he bends his knee to draw his foot back and avoid Micah.... Need to see it from the opposite side.
But he certainly flies in out of control and reckless.

I can understand a player making a tackle like that as its a split second and once committed then there's no going back.
What I cant understand is the clubs reaction - looking at the bench there's about as much movement as there was from Dzeko when they scored.
Sat on their arse - the players, bench whoever should have been right down the throat of the officials but no - we're too nice.
