Not sure Jack gets there like sterling did. It seemed an easy finish and he missed some sitters but he got there that much he contributed significantly. Thats a skill in itself

Conversely we have come back twice from 2 goal deficits for maximum points and once for a draw and got an injury time winner against Fulham but I get your sentiment.

We are actually quite comfortably mid-table for points after falling behind as well. Obviously, none of these stats tell the whole story. Spurs are top of that table because they go behind constantly but still win a lot of games, but Arsenal have gone behind the exact amount of times us but converted those into 4 wins to our 2. In a lot of ways, the Villa away game for both of us a snapshot of the key differences in our seasons so far!

They are different types Kaz with different skill sets , its not a matter of one being a better or worse version of the other I would suggest.

I am happy with Jack at present , Raz wanted and probably needed a change of clubs.

Think Raz got a lot of stick for "stat padding" or whatever, but on reflection a smart player who gets the second or third goal to completely kill off a game after the opposition's heads have dropped is exactly what we are missing. On the flip side, Chelsea are in desperate need of a player who can break the deadlock in the early stages of a game which is never going to be Sterling's key strength.

Your right about only part of the story but again if I have to crunch each game the Villa, Everton and Forrest results were very disappointing we should have won each game and would have us 4 points ahead of Arsenal.

Jesus and Sterling’s goals are a huge miss . Fernandinho coming on to see a game out is a huge miss . Our transfer strategy has unraveled under real world situations.

Aye, it's that simple: you can have one of those results as a fluke of football, but we've essentially maxed out our silly points dropped total for the season with a lot of games left to play.

I agree, Sterling had probably run his course with us. But he had a 1 goal in 2.5 games goal ratio. Grealish is 1 in 7.5. No one should be happy with that level (he’s been decent since the world cup to give him credit)

We currently get jack being on the floor a lot and hardly a goal threat most of the time , raz would get us a goal when we needed it to close off the game , one is defo worse for us than the other
