Dying

Death doesnt bother me at all. Its like Raymond Chandler called it....the big sleep. The end of everything and time for a massive kip where you are completely unaware that you're dead.
I had an operation a few years back where they knocked me out.
And when I came around I thought 'if I'd died on the table I wouldnt have known. And I wouldnt care because I would be oblivious forever to the fact'.
For some reason thinking that has sorted my head out about dying one day.
Just dont want it to be anytime soon.

Yes, have had loads of ops and I understand completely.

It will be just the same as before you were born....nothingness.

I've seen the Grim Reaper on more than one occasion . I told him to go fuck himself . I'm not dying in my 30's .
With my medical history I'll be glad to be able to see my 5 year old son grow into a man , I'm a lucky fucker to be here now ( City should be going for their 8th title by then )
You know it's on top , when you are advised to plan how your own funeral ( music, donations, burial, etc. ..depressing to fuck)
If you are suddenly faced with the possibility of dying , you're a fucking liar if you say you're not scared . I think if you're faced with dying at a relatively young age , it's the fact that you haven't experienced many things in life , especially family life . It's the thought of leaving family behind , head wrecker .
If you're in your 70's you've more or less experienced most things in life , so I guess it's 'ce la vie' ?

Personally , I think when you're lowered into the ground , you'll eventually become worm food . That's it .
But I'd like to think there is a soul heaven , eternal chill out for the soul ?

This was in to be played at my funeral . Music is my drug (as you've probably realised) . None of this downbeat malarkey , ....

I remember 'Scarblue' posting on here and saying that he thought he saw someone , or 'something' , hiding behind a door in his front room at the time of his death ..... but when he checked there was nobody there ...... that was eerie .
