Dynamo Kiev - Post Match Thread

I didn't really see Pellers team selection as baffling in the main. He played Jesus instead of Raheem because of his defensive work and ball retaining ability. Zaba came in for Sagna maybe was a bit of a suprise. Other than that it was the same team as in Kiev. Only decision I took exception to was bony over Kelechi on the bench.

Thought it was a mature and controlled performance. Yaya was great. Of the others I thought Fernando, Clichy and Aguero played well. Navas worked really hard. Absolutely gutted for Vinnie.

OR maybe they just disagree with you and maybe you aren't always right? Your attitude to any poster who disagrees with you stinks the place out.

If the jester's cap fits put it on your own head, Mr Pot.

I suggest you read back this thread with your eyes AND mind open and you will see Mr Kettle did not start this nonsense.

With a half crocked team for the derby, the last thing we need is moaning fans on Sunday.

You're wasting your time mate, they had to score 3 away goals to take it to extra time, Sterling and Nacho are being treated appallingly, how the fuck Bony makes the bench over Nacho astounds me.Call it hindsight if you like but a bit of foresight and player management would have seen Vinny on the bench to start the game, preserving him for a big big season run in-if we were 2-0 down at half time Vinny could have been brought on.

Its just another baffling set of team selections he's made since he arrived.

Not picking Sterling made perfect sense if you take the time to actually think about it.

He's played 41 games - more than anyone else in the squad.

He was our only attacking midfielder fit at one point, he's had to play loads to pick up the slack from KDB, Silva, Nasri and Navas' injuries.

And now Navas and Silva have come back to fitness he can get a rest.

This place is getting more and more toxic, anyone would think we are fighting relegation.

luckily supporting City is a lot more pleasurable than reading bile from the usual misery arses on here.

sort yer heads out

I have perfectly open eyes and mind thank you, it's not your opinion that bothers me, just your attitude. Oh, and moaning fans on here have no effect on the team, much better that they moan on here rather than at the match.

I just think it's the same posters in various thread which gives the impression that it's the majority of the forum when it patently isn't. Most of the people I know, even those who are deeply unhappy with this season, have a significant sense of perspective.

Silva is anything but fit which is the main reason I wanted Sterling to start instead. He might have been involved in 41 games but he's hardly played the full 90 in every one.
It's all personal choice though I suppose.

You've got absolutely no self awareness have you? Go back a few years and read some of your own posts, you might find the irony in that last one you've just made.

Wheras those who complain about the current situation have no fucking idea that Pep Guardiola is taking over, or how the academy is going or how the club is being built.

Only people like you understand stuff like that. Of course having an incompetent manager now & watching a team of journeymen run away with the Premier League wouldn't matter to anyone if only they understood the 'perspective'.

Like you.
