I agree completely with you.
I remember it being said when Sven was in charge, in relation to Martin Petrov.
People in this country are too quick to focus on what players can't / don't do (weaknesses) rather than what they can do (strengths).
On another note, I don't know if anyone has written this, because I can't be bothered reading through all the posts made on this thread this afternoon, but I think that will turn out to be a very important goal for City, not in the context of the game, which it obviousl was, but more for the player who scored it.
Edin has now got the monkey off his back, even if it was in the Cup to lower league opposition.
That idiot Dury said not long before the goal, "Džeko has played nearly four hours in England now and is yet to score", or words to that effect.
