A fabulous player, the signing I wanted for us more than any other in the last two years. I hope Edin is going to be a great and a legend at this club.
I also hope our new bluemoon friends from Bosnia enjoy the Manchester City rollercoaster!

I'm glad that u guys like Dzeko! I'm sharing your hopes about him becoming a City legend.

And yes, we enjoyed todays game, it was real beauty.

He will be scoring goals soon, with Silva fit, I'm sure of that. Not much of a service today for him and corners were taken pretty badly.
Welcome to our world.

Don't know if this has been mentioned but his movement and technical ability reminded me of berbatov but dzeco looks like he has more to his game from a physical and work rate point of view, I sometimes think berbatov is like a bloke looking for his lost dog sometimes when playing, dzeko did not make think that and I thought second half he was awesome

He needs to stop calling the rags Manchester (1:26) otherwise, fantastic debut.

Did ok getting the minutes today will do him wonders. Needs to play with Tevez to build up a understanding between the 2. Be interested to see what happens when Balotelli is fit as Balotelli has the quickness to get in behind the defence which Dzeko lacks. Was a option but when he plays he needs better service into the box for him from the wide men.

Well it was really good, the Role of the FF isnt that easy as it looks at Dzeko. But Tevez did a awesome Performance, Def&Off absolute Worldclass. Dzeko will need 2 Games till he gets totally fit, also some Passes needed to improve his movements.

But his First Touch is still incearbly awesome, every Situation was dangerous, when he got a Chance to staring a Attack.

Deep down he, like the rest of the world, knows the score when he's not been forced to read from a piece of paper given to him by Gary Cooke

;)

Another Bosnian here..

Dzeko is a gem. Give him some time and you will be watching him become one of the best players of this Man City generation of players. There is a certain grace about him, about the way he moves on the pitch, about the way he plays football in general. He's strong, smart and very talented. He is also a very nice bloke and there's big euphoria in Bosnia over him lately, we somehow feel that he represents our country in the nicest possible way.

regards from Bosnia!

Full 90+ minutes and I thought he played very well. Some very nice touches, held the ball up well and the link up play was great (especially that pass to Yaya for our third!).

Solid 8/10
He certainly looks a player. He'll need another 6-8 games to find some kind of form though. (The guy that sits behind our kid wanted him out after 30 mins!)

Quiet 1st half with too man long balls played up to him, but great hold up play in the 2nd half and took the weight off Tevez. Great touch for a big man. He's got a lot more to his game than just a goal-scoring threat as his assist showed. He could have scored at end of 1st half but his shot was blocked, and perhaps should have done better with a chance in the 2nd.

I'm so glad we signed this guy. I think he will become a legend at City.

Won his fair share of headers, had good control and looked to involve others in the play. He showed flashes of skill. I also liked the fact that at 1-0 down he chased after the ball to get it to their keeper so time was not wasted.

I think it will take some time before we really see his best but what we will see is a player who will be integral to our success.

Didn't score today but there will be many goals I'm sure. Hat trick on 12 Feb would be good!

He fits right in. Can't believe how well he played for just his first game. A creator and a striker all in one.

He will spearhead a powerful trident when Silva is fit.

You can tell he's a class player. He held the ball up really well, won lots of headers and even set up a goal. All that and he's only just come back from a winter break and is playing in a new league.

Can't wait until he's played a few games and gets going.

I think he played very well. Obvious he was lacking match fitness today but his play was excellent. Held it up very well and brought others into play very well (especially in the case of Yaya's goal). Once he's back to match fitness I can see him bagging a lot of goals this year, quality signing.

We do have some bell ends in our support a bloke near me slatted yaya after 30secpnds the same thing happened last home game after 2 mins some have no clue

great debut today he is so hard to get off the ball.really strong and the hold up player we have been missing for so long. can see him creating some real headaches for our opposition, especially as there will still be tevez for them to worry about too!

The way the press made out how slow he was because of bitter Jacobs jealousy I was expecting the second coming of didi. Instead he was very quick across the ground. Every bit as quick as Carlos.

The guy looks class. Loved the bit of skill that left the two wolves players on their backsides.

Im laughing at the club that sold him for 25,000 because they thought he was crap. They must feel like they lost the winning lottery ticket.
