See - this is where you're not being fair. Dzeko definitely displays skill even in current poor form if you're really watching without prejudice.

As a reminder, SO FAR at City he:

- Scored with his head (Notts game, unlucky in Aris and Chelsea games)
- Scored with his left (Aris)
- Scored with his right (Aris)
- Scored with half-volley (Notts)
- Held up the ball well many times
- Displayed great ability to pull down difficult passes (remember end of Kiev game?)
- Had two great assists,
- Had multiple great through passes to teammates

If above listed isnt skill then F**k me I know nothing about football.
Everyone hating Dzeko just needs to be a bit more objective and take a step back...Kid has quality, he needs to find himself here and you all are NOT helping (yet claiming you support the club).

Cheers.

Awesome post is awesome post.

Can't wait for Dzeko to start firing in all cylinders and shove the goals down the doubters' throat.

unfortunately the team cannt wait either...thats why he needs to be benched till the end of the season and then start a fresh with him next season

we play better at the moment without him.....tevez plays better without him and plays better with balo (if he can stay on the pitch long enough)!!!

Unfortunately, with this tactical set up this is true...but I bet that if you had proper wingers firing balls high and low into the box, with Dzeko playing his usual target man/poacher role you'd see a different side of him, the true side of him as he would a) score bucket loads of goals b) Tevez would benefit from Dzeko's lay offs, and trust me he knows how to do that (him and Misimovic created so many goals for Graffite at Wolfsburg)

possibly

but we cannt start experimenting at such a crucial time in the season

agree again...but once he is on the pitch, wouldn't it be more reasonable to try and cross the ball to him or play him out of position making him useless and his presence on the pitch an excuse for people to slagg him and say shit like "where he gets his price tag...."

Re: Dzeko

Give the lad a break. Some premiership top players such as Henry, Drogba, Evra, Vidic diddnt have the best of starts. But look at the class they have produced over the years.

I throw my hands up in the air sometimes singing AAYYYY OOOOOO, EDIN DZEKO!

How did you draw the conclusion that my view is somehow based on prejudgement. I want nothing more than for Dzeko to succeed.

And from a quick glance through your post history you seem to be the one with a bias. Come on, 90 % of your posts seem to be related to Dzeko and I am the one watching with prejudice?

The way Mancini's playing him reminds me of the way he blooded in Silva, which seemed to work. giving him starts in cup ties and the odd league game to get him used to the pace (which he seems to be struggling with). I can't help but like the guy, for some reason. He just seems like a grounded, good all around lad, who I hope will adjust to getting closed down quicker and succeed for years.
