he is starting to look very good and given a few more crosses will score for fun + he creates goals so please dont be to quick to knock a CITY PLAYER.. if you feel the need (AS YOU DO)to knock a city player pick JO...

Haha tell you what pal I was at game again yesterday and he looked dump again against poss poor opposition. The guy is one paced and has the first touch of Fred west. Don't know what glimpses you have seen.

SWP - goals-to-games doesn't count for much over such a SHORT span...cause you can have a field day against a bad team (see Berbatov) and score 5 in one game...it doesn't make you a great forward in the long haul - and you should know this. It's a good indicator over a season or two, maybe.
You should also know (and I'm sure you do) that goals are not the only measure of forward's greatness. Once fit for this league, Dzeko can be a nightmare for oposing defences in ways Balo will never be able to - simply due to his physique alone. Dzeko is a lanky mofo with ball skills - and those are hard to come by. Dzeko will draw double teams in the way guys like Balo never will. Look at other intangibles also - field vision, passing ability, leadership (Dzeko was a great leader at WF)...I would never take Balo over him for Balo's temper and act alone (the guy right now is a liability, unless something changes).
In some ways those two players are actually incomparable - like in the last game when Balo was on the left and had A LOT of space to get the ball and "look sharp". Try doing that in the middle where Dzeko is, with one or two CB's riding on your azz...see how sharp he would look.
It pissess me off when people see things as black and white - cause that's not the way things are, usually.

True that Dzeko has not been firing them in like Balo.. but Dzeko for me is a better team player. He is as happy to assist as it is for him to score. He has amazing vision, I mean the set up for Tevez was something you expect a world class playmaker to do. He will be one hell of a striker when he fully understands the EPL. I watched Dzeko with Wolfsburg and he can just about do anything. He will assist, he will cross well, he will be an threat in the air, he will finish, etc. He is taking baby steps now, just like Tevez did. But when he figures England and Man City out, he will be an assassin for our team. :)

Okay, why are we pitting Balo against Dzeko? It's not like we have to choose between one or the other. Seriously. They're both City players and they've both done about as well as can be expected in their limited time. Yeesh.

I see many of you guys disagreed with me when I wrote about Ireland and Dunne few pages ago, I took two of them as examples, because it is really hard for me to express myself because english is not my language. I will try to explain what I actually ment, I personally think that every club has to have some players which loves the club or fighters who would give their best in each game. I also think that Manchester have great players, maybe the best players in the league, but this team needs leaders, I honestly think that Tevez ( who is one of the best players in the world in my opinion) is not capable of being a captain, probably in this team the most appropriate for captaincity would be Zabaleta, who isn't a star players, but really fantastic player. I hope that you will understand what I actually ment . :)
