Why does every one of our new signings have to obsess over the rags ffs?

It's like they're given a sheet of childish quips by Garry Cooke and they read it out just to 'get one over' on United. Why not come in and NOT mention those cunts at all.

When was the last time the Rags wheeled out a signing who said "I hear that Man City haven't even won a trophy in decades"?

Look how the 'Welcome To Manchester' poster backfired,We're always doing this, it's sad.Lets talk about City and not generate these headlines that'll more than likely bite us on our arses again.

The now aged MEN survey wasn't of Manchester as it included Salford and outlying districts

Lol Salford is as close to central Manchester as you can get. In fact it borders the City Centre. I know Salford is a City in it's own right but to exclude it from any survey of Manchester is ridiculous.

No, your comment is ridiculous.

So, who do these inhabitants of "as close to central Manchester as you can get" pay their rates to? Who do these inhabitants vote for in Manchester Council elections?
Mexico is as close the the States as you can get - they're not fucking Americans though.

Oh aye mate, I've been an ST holder for 20 years.

I'd rather our new signings talk about our club and what we're going to do and not mention them.I mean, why even do it?

It was nearly as embarrassing as Roninho's when he couldn't remember who he'd signed for ffs.

For what it's worth, the idea that Manchester City is the more popular club in Manchester, whether true or not, is pretty widely held in Bosnia. Dzeko didn't need any stage-managing to mention that, it's just one of the most basic things people in Bosnia know about the club. And in any case, he technically didn't mention that other club at all; he just said "Most people in Manchester are City fans." It's all in good fun.

The "welcome to Manchester" banner didnt backfire on us, far from it.

Yes, I was about to say, how did that backfire? I still remember that and I thought it was hilarious.
